St. Matthew A.M.E. Church has scheduled a sixday revival event from July 16th to July 21st, 2023. Each night, starting at 7 pm, the church will host different speakers and choirs to uplift and inspire the congregation.
The revival will kick off on Sunday, July 16th with a sermon delivered by Minister Geneva Pasture. Sis. Mattie Wagner will lead the evening’s hymn, setting a melodic backdrop for the event’s start.
Monday and Tuesday, July 17th and 18th, will feature sermons from Reverend Stephany Davis Colenberg. Sis. Annie P. Ryans will direct Monday’s hymn, and Union Grove Baptist Church will perform as the choir on Tuesday, offering a harmonious accompaniment to Rev. Colenberg’s words.
On Wednesday, July 19th, Minister Beverly Williams will grace the podium for the evening’s sermon, paired with a performance by the Greater New Destiny choir, bringing together both spoken and musical worship.
Rev. Stephany Davis Colenberg will return to the pulpit on Thursday and Friday, July 20th and 21st, with Greater Faith Baptist Church and New Hope Baptist Church providing choral accompaniment on their respective evenings.
