The Town of Newbern and the Alabama Rural Water Association will hold a 15-session wastewater operator certification training program beginning Tuesday, Oct. 27, at Newbern Town Hall, 7777 Alabama Highway 61.
The first session is 4 to 7 p.m.
The program prepares operators for Grade 1 and Grade 2 certification. Trainees must attend every session to qualify for certification.
The trainers are Tyler Grant, a water quality specialist; Jon Lowe, training director; Bill Messick, an operations consultant; and Steve Berry, a wastewater specialist.
