Shelton State Community College (SSCC) Continuing Education will offer a one-day art camp for students in grades three through five on October 13 at the College’s Martin Campus from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The cost is $60 per student and includes lunch and a snack.
Participants will spend the day enjoying interactive, S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art, and math) based art activities and projects.
“Art camp is more than just art. It is exploring what art is and what art can be. It is seeing art in all of creation, how we can appreciate it, and how we can apply it in a way that we love,” shared Emily Wyatt, SSCC Continuing Education Coordinator. “This will be fun and interactive!”
Space is limited to thirty students. Interested participants are encouraged to register soon.
