Twelve Hale students earn degrees at UA

A dozen students from Moundville and Greensboro were among some 7,000 graduates who received degrees at the University of Alabama’s spring commencement at Coleman Coliseum in May.

Local graduates were:

  • Victoria Anderson of Moundville received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
  • Grant Hawkins of Moundville received a Juris Doctor.
  • Trey Howard of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences.
  • Katelyn Johnson of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Science in Education.
  • Turner Johnson of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Science in Education.
  • Brandi Lester of Moundville received a Doctor of Nursing Practice.
  • Lida Lewis of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Arts.
  • Emily Patrick of Moundville received a Master of Social Work.
  • Nathan Sims of Greensboro received a Bachelor of Science.
  • Aisha Smith of Moundville received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Information Sciences.
  • Makenzie Smith of Moundville received a Master of Public Administration.
  • Rachel Waldman of Moundville received a Master of Arts.
