Greensboro Garden Club members recently replanted the flower beds at the city welcome sign on Highway 14 and at the courthouse water trough after summer heat took its toll. The club says fall decorations will be in place soon.

Bernice Payne Morrison, 97, of Akron, passed away on May 25, 2026, at Forest Manor Health and Rehab.
