HCSD reports arrests for failure to appear, hunting without a permit, DUI

Hale County Sheriff’s Dept. has released the follow report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests:

August 25, 2025
Tamesha Lashae Woods, 20, of Marion was arrested for failure to appear.

August 26, 2025
Leonard Gregory McNeal, 35, of Faunsdale was arrested for failure to appear. Brandon Rayshon Brantley, 23, of Sawyerville was arrested for hunting without a permit.
Demarquez Daveon Braylock, 26, of Sawyerville was arrested for a SORNA violation and three counts of failure to appear.

August 27, 2025
Lytoya McCrary, 45, of Tuscaloosa was arrested for possession of marijuana, second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Kenneth Brady Taylor, 31, of Greensboro was arrested for driving under the influence and bond revocation.

August 31, 2025
Tameria Alontra Smith, 25, of Marion was arrested for failure to appear.
Sheleste Deshay Fowler, 25, of Moundville was arrested for failure to appear.

Incidents:

August 25, 2025
Harassing communications was reported on County Road 19 near Greensboro.
A miscellaneous incident was reported on Sparrow Drive near Sawyerville.

August 26, 2025
Burglary, third degree, was reported on County Road 44 near Moundville.
Harassment was reported on Fourth Avenue South near Akron.

August 27, 2025
Attempting to elude a police officer was reported on Tuscaloosa Street near Greensboro.

August 29, 2025
Theft of property, second degree, was reported on Acorn Drive near Faunsdale.
