Hale County Lady Cats celebrate winning season

Hale County High School held a banquet Monday night, April 8, in celebration of the many accomplishments made by the Lady Cats during the 2023-24 basketball season.

The team finished the season with the most wins in the school’s history for the Lady Cats, 25-7. For the second year in a row, the team has managed to be Regular Season Area Champions and Area Tournament Champions.

The Lady Cats also managed to make it into the Elite 8, the second time in the program’s history, as well as ranking seventh in 4A as part of the ASWA’s Final Rankings. To top it all off, the Lady Cats also enjoyed a 10 game-long winning streak for the season.
