Greensboro is still preparing for the Main Street Community Festival slated for Saturday, April 20. Organizers for the event are seeking retail, craft, and food vendors who may be interested in participating in this community event.

The festival already has a roster of musicians lined up for entertainment, including: Ken Bausano, Jason Irvin, the River Wind Band, the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra, Toney Nixon, and Hi-Definition.

There will also be a Kid’s Section which will include a number of featured activities throughout the day. Every half hour, the Hale County Library will be featuring a story time book reading, alongside bounce houses, face painting, bracelet making, and PE games. The First Methodist Church of Greensboro will be serving free lunches to children all day during the event.

Other activities will include: a fire truck and ambulance tour, the opportunity to build your own first aid kit, and an instrument petting zoo from 11 AM to 1 PM held by the Tuscaloosa Symphony Orchestra.
