Uniontown man dies in wreck near Faunsdale

A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 4:05 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, has claimed the life of a Uniontown man. Dewayne L. Harris, 43, was critically injured when the 2008 Dodge Ram that he was driving left the roadway, struck a culvert and overturned. Harris was transported to Whitfield Regional Hospital in Demopolis, where he succumbed to injuries sustained and was pronounced deceased. The crash occurred on Alabama 25 near the 31 mile marker, approximately three miles south of Faunsdale, in Marengo County. Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
