Stewart Methodist Church will have their annual Homecoming Service on Sunday, August 27, 2023, beginning at 10:45 AM. Judy Voss will be this year’s guest speaker.
Judy grew up in the Big Sandy community with her parents, Walter and Mollie Allen, her brother Al and her sister Henrietta. Judy graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Management. She held several positions at the University of Alabama during her 40-year career. She became the Director of Purchasing in 2001 and remained in that position until she retired in 2013. She currently serves on the Board of Directors at the ARC of Tuscaloosa County and is also an officer in Women in Christian Service at St.Mark Church in Northport. Judy has two sons and two wonderful grandchildren, five-year-old Lev- Allen Voss and one year old Noa Charlotte Voss.
A nursery will be available during the morning service. A fellowship lunch will be served at noon, and an old fashioned sing-a-long will begin at 1:30 PM. All are welcomed and encouraged to attend this special day! Reverend Michael Cobb is the pastor at Stewart Methodist Church.
