The Alabama Cooperative Extension System, through the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), is inviting the community to come together in support of local families for a Drop & Go Drive-Thru Baby Shower and Donation Drive.
This event is being held in an effort to ensure that expecting parents and newborns in Hale County have access to essential items and resources when they need them most.
The drive-thru event will take place on July 10 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hale County Extension Office, 701 Hall Street, Greensboro, AL.
Those wishing to participate are encouraged to donate new, unopened baby essentials, such as bottles, baby wash/lotion/oil, washcloths, blankets, car seats, and other newborn necessities.
All donations will directly benefit families participating in the six-week Today’s Mom Class in Hale County. This program provides education, support, and essential resources for healthy pregnancy and early childhood development.
