Workshop on protecting from identity theft set for July 14 at Hale Co. Library

Last Tuesday, June 20, Renee Vines, Regional Extension Agent for the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, gave an informative workshop on improving credit scores at the Hale County Library. On Friday, July 14, Vines will be hosting another workshop titled “Protecting Your Family from Identity Theft”, scheduled from 10 AM to 11 AM also at the Hale County Library.

Vines offers a variety of workshops on money management and responsible financing, including how to apply for FAFSA.

    A Newbern woman has been indicted in Hale County Circuit Court on charges of promoting prison contraband. Trenyce Lashay Rollins, 19, of Newbern, was arrested on the charges Nov. 21 of last year, according to court records.
