Brother Elrich Lee (Nitter) Williams was born January 24, 1953, in Greensboro, Alabama to the late Albert Williams and Susie Gray Williams.

Elrich was preceded in death by 6 brothers, Bobby, Darnell, Albert Jr., Charles, Jimmy Williams and Johnny Jones, 2 sisters, Carolyn and Georgia Williams.

Elrich confessed Christ at an early age and joined Greenleaf Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, Alabama.

Elrich educational path earned his graduate status at Hale County Training School and a certificate from CA Fredd Technical College in Air Conditioner and Refrigeration. He enlisted in the United States Army in August 1972.

On February 14, 1991, Elrich and Linda was united in marriage. Elrich was known for his fashion that is unmatched. He took a lot of pride in looking good on any given day, he was dressed to impress from head to toe.

On Monday, February 6, 2023, Elrich departed this life at Diversicare Nursing Home, Greensboro, Alabama. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Linda T. Williams, sons, Corey Elrich Thomas of Atlanta, GA, and Torrey (Angelia) Thomas of Covington, GA, granddaughter, Azyiah Thomas of Moundville, AL, his sister, Dorothy Jones of Greensboro, AL, brother, Charlie Jones of Rochester, NY, a devoted nephew, Senator Bobby Singleton of Greensboro, AL, sisters-in-law, Mildred Thomas of Austell, GA, Annie Thomas of Hempstead, NY, Rubie McCalpine, Josephine White of Greensboro, AL, and Barbara Harris of Tuscaloosa, AL, brothers-in-law, Stanley, Terry Thomas of Greensboro, AL and Bryan Thomas of Franklin, TN. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
