Members of the Greensboro Homemakers Club, Magnolia Homemakers, Hale County Extension agents, and other community leaders attended the Spring District III-IV meeting in Jennison, on Friday, April 15. Angela Treadaway, Regional Extension Agent, presented a program on the New Cottage Food Law and gave out Extension publications to attendees. Along with receiving state updates and recognition of various achievements, the group also learned about Smile Train – a project to change the world one smile at a time. Door prizes, presentations from state officers, and a demonstration on napkin folding for Easter décor were among the happenings at the meeting. Jovita Lewis, Lola Harper, Irene Crawford, Delores Crawford, and Pam Stone, were among the Homemakers Club members in attendance at the event.
