HCSD reports arrests for FTA, attempting to elude

Hale County Sheriff’s Department released the following report of the department’s activity over the past week:

Arrests:
December 12, 2024 – Joe Ray Smith, 40, of Greensboro, was arrested for contempt of court.
December 13, 2024 – John Lambert Brown, 54, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for failure to appear.
Laregan Tubbs Curry, 45, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear (two counts).
December 14, 2024 – Lamarcus Antwoine Green, 28, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for attempting to elude.
Kerry Ladell Hogan, 40, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear.
December 15, 2024 – Ahjah Mitchell, 36, of Uniontown, was arrested for failure to appear (two counts).
Isidore McCalpine, 38, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear (three counts).

Incidents:
December 10, 2024 – Domestic violence in the 3rd degree was reported on Mt. Olive Larceny/theft was reported on Highway 61 near Newbern.
December 11, 2024 – Identity theft was reported on County Road 26 near Faunsdale.
December 12, 2024 – Identity theft was reported on Cherokee Terrace near Greensboro.
Vicious dogs at large were reported on 9th Street in Akron.
December 13, 2024 – Cruelty to a dog or cat in the 2nd degree was reported on 8th Street near Akron.
December 14, 2024 – A miscellaneous incident was reported on Jackson Road near Sawyerville.
