Funeral services for Lakaeesha Jones were held on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Washington & Paige Chapel.
Lakaeesha Jones was born to Arthur Taylor and Patricia Jones Tubbs. She was the first of three children born into this union.
Lakaeesha accepted Christ at an early age and joined Mt. Horeb Baptist Church.
Lakaeesha was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Jones Tubbs; her stepfather, Willie Tubbs; her father, Arthur Taylor; and her sister, Tamika Fields.
Lakaeesha leaves to cherish her memories her sister, Chiquita Powell. She is also survived by her two devoted nephews, Kalani Fields and Kameren Fields. Her three nieces, A’lehkae Fields, A’saunte Powell, and A’mahni Powell, will also remember her fondly. Lakaeesha is further survived by her four uncles: Joseph Taylor, also known as Tony, of Newbern, Alabama; Albert Taylor of Greensboro, Alabama; Walter Jones and Barbara Jones of Madison, Alabama; and Darryl Harvey and Betty Harvey of Huntsville, Alabama. In addition, a host of friends and relatives will cherish her memory.
