The Friends of Hale County Animals (FHCA) will host a fundraiser to benefit the Hale County Animal Shelter on May 31, 2024 at Project Horseshoe Farm Courtyard/Ballroom from 6-8pm. Tickets to enter are $25 per person which will include hors d’oeuvres and entry for door prizes. In addition, raffle tickets will be sold for pieces from local artists and items from businesses in the community that have been graciously donated for the event. FHCA t-shirts will also be sold at that event. “Hale County Animal Shelter is vital for the welfare of our furry friends in the county,” said FHCA president Buzzy Barnette. “Without the money FHCA raises, the shelter would not be able to operate on county funding alone.” Friends of Hale County Animals is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
