July 27, 2026

Ivory White, 65, of Greensboro, was arrested for harassment.

Gary Leon Klipstine, 61, of Gallion, was arrested on two charges of failure to appear.

Terrance Oneal Tutt, 29, of Moundville, was arrested for reckless driving and attempting to elude.

Derrick Dewayne Armstead, 35, of Eutaw, was arrested on two charges of failure to appear.

    Bertha Mae Thomas, 82, of Safford, died Thursday, July 23, in Greensboro. She was born October 3, 1943. Funeral services were held Saturday, August 1, at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church on Freetown Road in Uniontown. Burial followed at Glovers Primitive Baptist Church on County Road 79 in Thomaston. Arrangements were by Phillip White Funeral Home.
