Carrol Joy Payne Robinson, 77, died September 17 at Druid City Hospital. She was born April 6, 1948, to Dewey and Reba Wyatt Payne. An Atmore woman was arrested Sept. 17 on a felony organized retail theft charge stemming from a July incident in Hale County, according to Hale County District Court records. Latajma Juanye’ Dickerson, 29, of Atmore is charged with organized retail theft, a Class B felony.
