HCBOE set to meet today at 5:30 p.m.

The Hale County Board of Education will hold its next meeting on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at the College and Career Academy, located at 19875 Alabama Highway 69 in Greensboro, Alabama.

The proposed agenda includes several key items. New business will address an out-of-state field trip request for Hale County Middle School’s 6th-grade students to visit Memphis, Tennessee.

Additional field trip requests on the agenda include Greensboro Middle School’s STEM trip to Auburn University and College and Career Academy trips to Birmingham’s BJCC for modern manufacturing and the University of West Alabama in Livingston for STEM engineering.
