Gina Sue Tyler, age 62, passed away on July 10, 2024, at DCH Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Al surrounded by her family. In regard to a service or memorial, arrangements will be made later and announced.
Gina was born September 01,1961 to the late Eugene and Annie Sue Turner. She was born in Birmingham and lived most of her life in Tuscaloosa until she moved to Greensboro, AL where she met the love of her life, Clayton L. Tyler, Jr. Gina loved spending time outdoors working with her husband in the garden, planting flowers and fishing before she was too sick to get outside. She and Clayton loved to go fishing and of course, she always out fished him. She loved the Lord, her family and the members of the Greensboro EMS and Fire Department more than they can imagine.
In addition to her parents, Gina was preceded in death by her brother David Turner, her grandson Hank George, and great grandson Roran George.
She is survived by her husband of almost 24 years, Clayton L. Tyler of Greensboro, AL; daughters, Dana Epps (Shedrick) of Vance, AL and Jennifer Simpson (Tony) of Millport, AL; sons, James Isbell (Latania) of Rocky Mountain, NC and Jeffrey Harris (Haley) of Franklin, GA; sisters, Mary Turner of Berry, AL and Lisa Barfuss of Boise, ID; brothers, Edward Turner (Candie) of Coker, AL, Eugene Turner, Jr. (Rosemary) of Northport, AL, Michael Turner of Sevierville, TN and Barry Hall (Lisa) of Centerville, AL; grandchildren, Autumn Gibson (Tyler) of Brookwood, AL, Daphne Kindred (Wesley) of Vance, AL, Isabella Hartley of Northport, AL, Tyler Simpson of Brookwood, AL, Daniel Hallman of Northport, AL, Drew Simpson of Gulf Shores, AL, Brandon Hallman (Rilyn) of Northport, AL, Julian Smith of Greensboro, AL, Lucas Harris of Franklin, GA and Kailey Harris of Franklin, GA. Gina also has several great grandchildren.
The family wishes to recognize the Greensboro EMS and Fire Department, Harvest Select Catfish Farm, Chris and Miranda Burnette, Alvin and Lucy Worrell, and three young ladies whom Gina loved as her own grandchildren Caitlyn Lee, Kimberly Swindle and Holley Osmer. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Gina’s honor can be made to the Greensboro EMS and Fire Department at 554 Armory Street, Greensboro, AL 36744.
