The Hale County Animal Shelter has announced their virtual “fur baby shower” will last throughout the month of June. The shelter is registered at both Amazon and Walmart’s online shopping networks. Donations may be made in person, as well. The shelter is located at 20 Corrections Drive in Greensboro, operating from 11 AM to 2 PM on Thursday and 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday.
Items requested include: wet and dry kitten food; wet and dry puppy food; blankets; dawn dish soap; laundry detergent; kitten and puppy toys; bleach; and puppy pads.
The shelter is also accepting volunteer work and requests that the public share information on the shelter’s adoptable pets. Due to an expected influx of kittens and puppies, the shelter also stresses the importance of spaying and neutering pets.
