Michelle Richardson Smith was born on March 22, 1968, to the late Lucy Richardson in Hale County, Alabama. After her mother’s death at a young age, her grandmother, the late Lillie G. Richardson, raised her. She was brought up with her uncle and aunties as her baby sister. Sister Michelle departed this life on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Medstar Southern Maryland Hospital in Clinton, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Anderson Smith, where they both resided in Forestville, Maryland.
She confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Whitsitt Baptist Church. She leaves to cherish her memories: two loving and devoted sons, Anderson Richardson (Anna) and Devante Smith, both of Forestville, Maryland. Four sweet grandchildren, Anderson, Jaiden, Nathanael, and Gabrielle all of Maryland.
A devoted uncle, who stayed with her and comforted her until her final days, Ivory Richardson of San Jose, California. Three aunts, Shirley Carlisle (Freddie), Cindy Taylor (James) both of Greensboro, Alabama. Vualah Smith (Andrew) of Newbern, Alabama. A special cousin, Sheila Carlisle of Newbern, Alabama, and a host of cousins, relatives, and friends.
