Magnolia Homemakers met March 21 with fourteen present

The Magnolia Homemakers and Community Leaders met on March 21, 2023 at Hale County Extension building with fourteen members present.

Nancy Jennings, president, presided. Megan Stokes shared meditation on choosing our words wisely and avoiding arguing when on social media. Members were informed that the club will award two $500 scholarships this year. The forms have been distributed and are due on April 10.

Eve Kneeland has volunteered to assist with the club’s scrapbook with collection of newspaper articles and photographs by any member.

Megan Stokes shared a uniquely informative program using photos from her trip to northern Idaho to visit her mother. Megan fielded many questions about the landscape and terrain of where she had traveled in her home state of Idaho.

Members participated in a creative art project for Easter. Nancy Jennings directed the project.
