Lyniya Washington won 1st place in the poster contest “Healthy Soil Healthy Life” that was sponsored by the Area III Alabama Association of Conservation Districts for age groups 4th through 6th grade. Area III consists of 11 counties. Lyniya is an upcoming 7th grader at Greensboro Middle School and is the daughter of Denise Polk.
