Coach Winston Johnson of Greensboro High School said he was proud of his players at the end of his first year as head of football coach at the school. At the end of the school year, three students received scholarships to further their academic and athletic careers: K. Bolden (Baker University), J. Moore (Miles College), and J. Williams (Miles College). The scholar-athletes are pictured above on signing day. Johnson and the GHS players also participated in a Community Service Project day at Greensboro Elementary School (pictured above), reading to and working with elementary school students for a day of fun and giving back. Johnson said he was excited about what next year had in store for his school, team, and players.
