Hale County Sheriff’s Dept. has released the follow report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests

February 16, 2026

  • Phillip Andrew Johnson, 46, of Akron, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.
  • Angela Lee Collins, 37, of Akron, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance.

February 17, 2026

  • Pierre Xavier Griffin, 39, of Demopolis, was arrested for failure to appear and child support.
  • Patrick Oneal Sanders, 34, of Sawyerville, was arrested for arson, first degree.

February 18, 2026

  • Telvin Jamal White, 31, of Greensboro, was arrested for reckless endangerment, reckless driving, felony attempt to elude and bond revoked.

February 19, 2026

  • Judy L. Jones, 38, of Akron, was arrested for failure to appear.

February 20, 2026

  • Cleveland Harris, 78, of Greensboro, was arrested for domestic violence, third degree, and domestic violence third degree/assault third degree.
  • Annabell Reese Carpenter, 23, of Berry, was arrested for possession of marijuana, second degree, obstruction and four counts of failure to appear.

February 21, 2026

  • Zacchaeus Tamar Briggins, 34, of Newbern, was arrested on two counts of failure to appear.
  • Lamarcus Deandre Chiles, 36, of Birmingham, was arrested for receiving stolen property, first degree, and promoting prison contraband, second degree.

  • A miscellaneous report was taken on Oakwood Drive near Greensboro.

February 20, 2026

  • Harassment, two counts, was reported on Club Drive near Moundville.
  • Violation of a protection order was reported on Highway 69 South near Moundville.

February 22, 2026

  • A miscellaneous report was taken on County Road 32 near Greensboro.
  • Domestic violence, third degree, was reported on County Road 19 near Greensboro.
