HCSD reports arrests for truancy, rape, domestic violence, bad checks

Hale County Sheriff’s Dept. has released the follow report of the department’s recent activity:

Arrests:
August 18, 2025
Cornell Richardson, 18, of Sawyerville was arrested for rape, second degree.

August 19, 2025
Nicole Davis, 41, of Greensboro was arrested for violation of the Parent Responsibility Act (adult) and failure to appear.

August 20, 2025
Quintina Olivia Hoyett, 38, of Akron was arrested for truancy.
Kendall Jai Cole, 39, of Gallion was arrested for bond revocation and domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation.

August 21, 2025
Acacia Zmaya Hayes, 24, of Tuscaloosa was arrested for two counts of failure to appear.
Tarus Ricardo Rush, 38, of Greensboro was arrested for failure to appear.
Demetrius Oneill Bryant, 37, of Sawyerville was arrested for reckless endangerment, attempting to elude, bond revocation, possession of marijuana, first degree, and possession of a controlled substance.

August 22, 2025
Shakeithia Q. Hatter, 36, of Tuscaloosa was arrested for negotiating worthless instruments.
Antowuan Mosley, 41, of Selma was arrested for theft of property, first degree.

Jamichael Edwards, 24, of Greensboro was arrested for obstruction of governmental operations.

Criminal mischief was reported on Highway 14 near Sawyerville.

August 19, 2025
Theft of property, third degree, was reported on County Road 45 near Akron.

August 21, 2025
Harassment was reported on Carver Street near Greensboro.

August 23, 2025
Permitting dogs to run at large was reported on Sage Road near Greensboro. An animal bite was reported on Sky Lane near Akron.

August 24, 2025
A miscellaneous incident was reported on County Road 44 near Moundville.
