Hale Co. Sheriff’s Dept. has released the follow report of the department’s recent activity:
Arrests:
09-16-2024: Shardrius Watford, 20, of Greensboro, was arrested for failure to appear.
Kayla E. Ballard, 32, of Marion, was arrested for failure to appear (x2).
09-18-2024: Michael Allyn Martin, 39, of Mississippi, was arrested for driving under the influence.
09-20-2024: Cardell Hawkins Jr., 19, of Newbern, was arrested for failure to appear (x3).
09-21-2024: Jerry Lake, 36, of Tuscaloosa, was arrested for domestic violence by strangulation.
09-22-2024: Wymarcus Devontae Smith, 29, of Centreville, was arrested for attempt to elude.
Ralph Jerell Westbrook, 27, of Centreville, was arrested for attempt to elude.
Ladarius Antwan Jackson, 29, of Newbern, was arrested for attempt to elude.
Incidents:
0 9 – 1 7 – 2 0 2 4 : Larceny/theft was reported on 6th Avenue near Moundville.
09-18-2024: Harassment was reported on Indian Hill Road near Moundville.
Theft of property third degree was reported on Mt. Olive Road near Gallion.
09-19-2024: Criminal littering was reported on Carnation Road near Sawyerville.
09-21-2024: Domestic violence by strangulation or suffocation was reported.
09-22-2024: Unauthorized use of a vehicle was reported on County Road 17 near Sawyerville. Menacing was reported on County Road 52 near Moundville.
