The Town of Newbern will host a free evening of small business support Thursday, August 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Newbern Town Hall, 7777 Highway 61.
The event, presented with Communities Unlimited, a nonprofit that works with rural communities and entrepreneurs across the South, is open to business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs alike.
Attendees can receive one-on-one help with business planning, strategic growth planning, industry benchmarking and wealth building, and those who take part will be eligible for continued long-term one-on-one support at no cost.
Marnell W. Love, Communities Unlimited’s area director for Mississippi, Alabama and Tennessee, will serve as the support provider for the session.
