Henry Lee “Chain Saw” Hamilton was born May 20, 1936, to the late Lucy Bell and Mickey Bell in Hale County, Alabama. He was raised by Fredonia Hamilton.
Henry confessed Christ at an early age and joined St. John Baptist Church. He departed this life on May 27, 2026, at the age of 90. He was married to Martha Hamilton, a devoted wife, who preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wilbert, J.C., and Issac Bell; and three sisters, Arnold Lee Shelton, Elizabeth Cunnegan, and Geraldine Boddorf.
He leaves to treasure his memories two daughters, Rebecca (Johnny) Williams of Greensboro, AL, and Freida Hamilton of Greensboro, AL; four grandchildren, Shanekia Hamilton of Greensboro, AL, Maquarius Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL, Shanise Williams of Baton Rouge, LA, and Ladashia Williams of Huntsville, AL; two great-grandchildren, Zayden King and Daysen Tubbs, both of Greensboro, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other close relatives, and friends.
Services were held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 2:30 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, Greensboro, Alabama, with Pastor Antonio Shelton officiating.
