Steven “Jack” Martin was born Jan. 10, 1969, to the late Eartha Mae Martin and Johnny Quarles. He departed this life June 30.
At an early age, Steven confessed Christ as his Lord and Savior. He loved spending time with family and friends and was known for his quiet strength, caring heart, and memorable smile. Whether sharing stories, laughter, or simply enjoying the company of those he loved, Steven made lasting memories that will forever be treasured.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eartha Mae Martin; his father, Johnny Quarles; and his grandmother, Fannie Martin.
He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted sister, Patricia Gee of Akron; two loving aunts, Barbara Jackson of Akron and Betty Purcell of Westbury, N.Y.; his special cousin, Ben Quarles; his good friend, James White; a host of cherished cousins with whom he shared many wonderful memories; loving nieces and nephews whom he adored; and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish his life and legacy.
