What is Pink Friday you ask? Pink Friday is a nationwide event dedicated to celebrating and supporting small and local businesses. It takes place annually on the Friday before Black Friday, encouraging shoppers to discover and support small retailers first during the holiday season. This year Greensboro merchants welcome their loyal customers with a variety of promotions such as door prizes, special sales or extended hours. When you finish shopping don’t forget our local restaurants too! Greensboro is fortunate to have such a variety of food offerings for our town and all are open for lunch and dinner on Friday! Greensboro’s Pink Friday event is sponsored by Greensboro Alabama Business and Tourism Association (GABTA). “Thank you to not only the loyal customers who support us but also to the hard working ‘mom and pop’ operations that are an essential fiber of our small town,” says GABTA president Buzzy Barnette. “Don’t forget…Shop Small First!”
