Leonard Daquan Joseph Mabry was born on February 28, 1986, and passed away on July 28, 2024.

The Celebration of Life service was held on Saturday, August 10, at 11:00 PM. The service as held at Ye Shall Know The Truth Baptist Church, located at 11350 County Rd 29, Alberta, AL 36720. Pastor Robert Mack officiated the service.

Brother Leonard Mabry was born on February 28, 1986, to parents Sharon Mabry and Leonard McKenzie in New York City.

Daquan was a beloved son, grandson, uncle, nephew, and a listening ear to many others. He is the grandson of the late Annie Matt Coleman. He leaves behind four siblings: Rolleana Mabry, RaShawn Mabry, Antwan Mabry, and Elaeya Mabry; nine nieces and nephews: Anthony (AJ) Mabry, Malaya Mabry, Starasia Mabry, Kameron Crenshaw, Malena Mabry, Melody Collins, Ace Blakney, Karmen Mabry, and Ava Harris. He is also survived by his grandmother, Theodora McKenzie, his grandfather, Lenny Duce, and his aunt, Tamica “Nikki” Mabry, along with a host of cousins and caring friends.

Beyond his relentless work ethic, Daquan was known for his genuine kindness and ability to speak the truth with compassion. His straightforward nature was a refreshing contrast in a world often clouded by pretense. Daquan’s honesty was never harsh but always tempered with a deep sense of empathy and a desire to help others see and achieve their best.

Daquan will be missed, but the legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know him.
