On August 7, Te’Eric Lee Ware was formally charged in the District Court of Hale County with aggravated surveillance, a felony offense under Alabama law. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on August 5, where Ware is accused of engaging in surveillance of an individual in a private setting without consent, allegedly for sexual gratification.

The arrest was made on August 6, and Ware has remained in custody since. During the initial court appearance, a judge informed Ware of his rights and the charges against him. Ware requested and was appointed legal counsel after completing an affidavit of hardship. The court set his bond at $5,000, with the additional condition that he must wear a GPS ankle monitor.

Ware’s preliminary hearing is scheduled for September 17, at 9:00 AM
