Hale Extension to hold ‘My Plate, My Family’ nutrition workshop tomorrow

The Hale County Extension Office will be hosting “My Plate, My Family” tomorrow (Friday), May 31 in the auditorium of the Hale County Extension Office located at 701 Hall Street in Greensboro.

Beginning at 1 PM, participants will join host, Shalong Hamilton, SNAPEd Nutrition Educator, in exploring the MyPlate model and applying its dietary recommendations to everyday life. Attendees will discover new ways to offer more nutritious options at mealtimes, particular during the growing season when fresh produce is at its peak.
