Gale Denise Hale was born in Chicago, Illinois, on April 26, 1965, to the late Eddie Hawkins and Portia Hale. Gale made her heavenly transition on May 27, 2024, at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Gale was preceded in death by both parents, Eddie Hawkins and Portia Hale. She leaves to cherish her loving and devoted memories: her children, James, Lakisha, Lawrence, Anthony, and Maurice Hale; her sisters, Patricia and Wanda; her brothers, Maurice and Eddie (Renae) Hale; her stepsister, Jennifer Walker; and her “pops,” Henry Hoskins. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 9 greatgrandchildren, 7 nieces, 14 nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service for Gale Denise Hale was held on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Washington and Paige Chapel, with Rev. Laramie Long officiating.
