Daisy Edwards Robinson, a beacon of love and strength, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2024, at Hospice West Alabama.
Daisy was born on April 18, 1963, to the late Rufus Edward Sr., and living mother, Bessie Edward. Daisy had a passion for singing and dancing and having fun with family. She accepted Christ at a young age at Pine Grove Baptist Church and remained a member until death.
Daisy was preceded in death by her father, Rufus Edwards Sr., brother, Rufus Edwards Jr., and sister, Essie M. Frank. Despite losing her loved ones, she still found joy in spending time with her family.
Daisy left behind her husband, Alfred Robinson Sr. and three sons: Kevin Edwards, Huntsville, Alabama; Kendrick Edwards, Fort Worth, Texas; Alfred Robinson Jr., Dallas, Texas.
Grandchildren, Kahri Edwards, Kendria Edwards, Khalil Mitcade. Sisters and brothers, James (Maggie) Frank, Ethel M. Edwards, Ruby Jean (Riley) Benson, Pearlie (James) Moore, Corine Edwards, Jannie Edwards, Ella B (Bernard) Desroches, Robert (Pamela) Edwards, Sonya (Phillip) Boykin, Gloria (Dedric) Warren, Susan Harris, Kimberley Harris. Special friend, Eddie Hunter. Aunts Susan Davis, Rebecca Edwards, Gladys Edwards, and Lula Edwards. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
The funeral service was held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. at Pine Grove Baptist Church, Highway 61 Rosemary Rd, Greensboro, AL 36744. Pastor James Frank, Jr., officiated.
