The Magnolia Homemakers and Community leaders held their monthly meeting for March at the Hale County Extension Office on Tuesday, March 19 in Greensboro.
Pam Hamilton, President, called the meeting to order and offered the devotional. Hamilton also led the organization in the Pledge of Allegiance. Anne Bailey read the minutes of the previous meeting and gave the treasurer’s report. Hamilton resided over the business session, which included updates on the District III meeting, supporting the Hale County Animal Shelter, a birthday party held at the local nursing home, and the distribution of scholarship applications to local high school students.
After the business session, Hamilton educated members on the following topics: the use of vinegar in the home; proper use of antibiotics; and bad bacteria. Donna Nixon provided refreshments for the club.
