There will be a Seed Swap at the Hale County Library located on 1103 Main Street in Greensboro on Saturday, January 27 from 9 AM to 12 noon. A day of learning and garden planning will end with participants having the opportunity to take home seeds to start their own gardens.
Among the activities planned are a seed starting workshop and information on easy “cut and come again” crops. This will be an opportunity to connect with local gardeners and get an early start on growing.
Donations of seeds can be dropped off at the Hale County Library. The event is sponsored through the local chapter of Alabama 4-H. For further information, contact James Banks at 205-632-3722 with any inquiries.
