David Matthew Frye, age 45 of Moundville, passed away November 6, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Moundville at 11:00 am on Thursday, November 16, 2023 with Rev. Dax Lancaster officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents; James and Betty Henry, Helene Frye and David Pusley, great grandmother; Eula Henry, Uncle Robert Wells and Aunt Tina Henry.
He is survived by his wife Candice Brooke Nolen, daughters; Brylie Kate Frye, Bristol Kay Frye, sons; David Lane Frye, Brody Michael Frye, and Cayden Beau Nolen-Frye, his parents; David “Red” Frye and Connie Henry Frye.
Matt was a kind, hard working and humble man, who ad a deep love for his family and friends. Known for his strong work ethic, he was admired by all who knew him. Matt’s dedication and commitment to his work were evident in everything he did. He took pride in providing for his loved ones. Even while working multiple jobs he made time for is family. He was always found in the ballfield or out hunting with the boys. His hobbies were spending time with his kids, doing everything they loved to do. Please join us in remembering, and honoring the life of Matt. His presence will be deeply missed, but is legacy of hard work and love will forever remain in our hearts. He may be gone, but his memory will forever bring a smile to the faces of all those lucky enough to have known him.
