Abadir’s of Greensboro was the recent recipient of a grant from the Backing Small Businesses program presented by American Express and in partnership with National Main Street. The grants provide financial support to small businesses, to address critical needs and make a positive impact in local communities.
Sarah Cole of Abadir’s is just one of 350 small businesses nationwide to receive the funding. This is the latest grant Abadir’s has received this month, bringing the total amount of grant funding for the venture to $10,000 in June alone. Cole has indicated that all the funding will go directly to building out her food space in downtown Greensboro. The Backing Small Businesses grant will specifically be used to rebuild an accessibility ramp on the South facing side of the food space.
