Gordo man charged with firstdegre rape in Hale

A Gordo man, identified as Freeman Douglas Harcrow, was arrested and charged with first-degree rape on June 15, 2023, in Hale County, Alabama, according to court records.

Douglas, 57, was reportedly apprehended by Moundville Police Chief Toby Banks. The charge, a class A felony, was filed on the same day as the arrest. The case was assigned to District Judge Timothy A. Evans.
