Students from Greensboro Elementary School’s Peer Helpers and Student Government Association (SGA) recently enjoyed a well-deserved field trip to celebrate their accomplishments throughout the year. The students, known for their exemplary leadership qualities, consistently demonstrate respect, responsibility, and resourcefulness at GES.

Coordinated by Mrs. Fields and Mrs. Ward for Peer Helpers, and advised by Mrs. Jemison for SGA, the students were treated to a memorable trip that included a visit to the Historic Bama Theater. There, they were able to enjoy the captivating performance of Matilda Jr. The Musical. The group rounded off their outing with a meal at the popular Baumhower’s restaurant.

Throughout the day, the students received numerous compliments for their exceptional behavior, particularly while dining at the restaurant. This field trip not only served as a reward for their hard work and dedication to their school but also demonstrated their ability to serve as role models to their peers.
