The well-known and beloved bloodhound known as Greensboro’s unofficial ‘town dog,’ Fred, died recently. Fred, who spent his formative years in rural Faunsdale, developed a wandering spirit that did not leave him when his family moved to the big town of Greensboro. He could often be seen visiting his many friends downtown and on Main Street. He even had his own social media channel documenting his adventures. Fred’s human, Sunni Dahl, took to Facebook March 1 to thank friends for their words of sympathy.
