Best Wishes to Patricia June Moss, formerly of Moundville, and Dennis Marvin Langham, formerly of Sawyerville, who were united in Christian marriage on December 10, 2022 at Central United Methodist Church in Decatur, Alabama. Dr. Roger H. Moss, Jr., brother of the bride presented her for marriage. Parents of the bride are the late Roger H. Moss & the late June Watchinski Moss, formerly of Moundville. Parents of the groom are the late Edward E. Langham & the late Nell Lagrone Langham.
The bride’s cousin, Michael Watchinski, of Morris, Illinois, and Reverend Alan Weatherly, officiated the ceremony. Matron of Honor was Sharon Peavey Whatley of Pelham, Alabama. Standing up for her father as “Best Person” was Anna Grace Langham Milligan, of Moulton, Alabama. Flower Girl was Noelle Rose Moss, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roger H. Moss, III (Beau and Alaine). Music was provided by Karen Davis- Hudson of Alabaster, Alabama and Dr. Roger H. Moss, Jr., of Decatur, Alabama. The Bride’s gown was custom made by Jeanette Fiore in Hartselle, Alabama.
Guests enjoyed a luncheon reception of Blackened Atlantic Salmon and grilled Chicken. The Wedding cake and Groom’s cake were created by the bride’s cousin, Monna Watchinski, of Morris, Illinois. Assisting in serving and hosting of the reception were Suzy Moss of Decatur, Tammy Nevin Latham of Tuscaloosa and Beverly Davis of Moundville. Sara Alice Godwin, of Decatur, served as wedding director. After a honeymoon trip the couple is residing in Decatur, Alabama.
Tracy Boothe, Stephen Proud and Tracy’s son, Charlie Nick, recently visited with Tracy’s parents, Jerry & Bessie Boothe, coming especially to celebrate Charlie’s 15th birthday.
Family and Friends, as well as myself, celebrated Ann Hester Wyatt’s “80th” birthday with her, last Sat., Jan. 28th, at Big Sandy Methodist Church.
Brandon and Nolie Ray Montgomery have been here visiting family and have left for their trip across country to Coupeville, Wa., where Brandon has accepted a job. Brandon is the son of Josh and Julie Terry Montgomery and Nolie is the daughter of Crystal and David Ray, all of Moundville.
