The Greensboro Homemakers and Community Leaders along with the Magnolia Homemakers and Community Leaders met on September 21 for their annual combined meeting. Alice Moore, Regional Extension Agent, Food Safety and Quality made a special presentation on “Food Safety for Seniors”. A highlight of the meeting was the selection of the “Key Member”. The honor of “Key Member” was bestowed upon Delores Crawford of the Greensboro Homemakers and Community Leaders. Fellowship, a delicious lunch, and the viewing of cultural arts entries rounded out a wonderful day for the two homemakers’ groups in Greensboro.
