The May 10, 2022 meeting of Veritas Club was held at the annex to Peoples Bank of Greensboro. Six members were present. Hostess was Sue Bonner with assistance from Anne Bailey.
Sue Bonner, president, presided. The secretary, Anne Bailey, read minutes from the previous meeting and Karen Whitis provided the treasurer’s report.
The two winners of $500 scholarships – James Thomas and Haley Marie Hoggle – were present. Each scholarship winner expressed appreciation for the scholarship and shared college plans, future grads, and past achievements. In addition, club members were given the opportunity to ask many questions and received thoughtful and informative answers.
Veritas Club was adjourned after the group recited the collect.
