National Hospital Week is this week from May 8th to 14th! This week of recognition occurs every year during the week of Florence Nightingale’s birthday, which is on May 12th. The holiday was established by the American Hospital Association to shine a spotlight on our many hospitals, health systems, and health care workers who strive to save lives daily.

What makes our hospital so special are people – from community members to staff, so many in our hospital are deeply invested in this community, and that is something we do not take for granted. Our mission is to care for our own neighbors, family, and friends, and to have such amazing, dedicated, passionate and community-driven staff onboard drives that mission forward. It is so rare to find a group of staff members so wholly committed to the community their serving, and that, in addition to our wonderful community, is truly a huge part of what makes our hospital so special.

We’d like to take a moment to say a huge thank you to ALL of our staff members: we appreciate you all more than words can convey, and we are so glad to have you as part of our family. Thank you all for helping to provide Top Care Right Here at Hale County Hospital!
