Meteorologist James Spann visited Breakthrough Charter School’s campus on Thursday, April 28th to speak to 4th-6th grade students. While on campus, James Spann discussed with students the importance of weather preparedness. He taught students about different kinds of weather machinery, how to identify types of clouds, and how to identify tornados on a radar. Students wrote cards showing their appreciation for the work James Spann does to keep Alabamians safe. He was also presented with a delicious cookie cake designed by Doodle Daisy Designs. Breakthrough Charter School plans to host Mr. Spann every academic year.
